With the rapid development of economy and high level of mechanization and automation, the technique of crane develops more and more quickly. Due to popularity of using crane, people pay more and more attention to the security. As we know, the longer time a crane works, the more insecure it will be. If the accident occurs, it will cause economic loss directly, even number of injuries and deaths. Risk assessment in crane is of practical significance in project.This paper has a risk assessment in crane using the method of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation. It supplies the reference for people to reduce the risk directly. The main context as follows:1) The latent risk of metallic structure in bridge crane composes of four parts, which are damages by corrosion,crack,intensity and deformation. According to the character of the risk factors in bridge crane, we can establish the complex assessment system based on the different of the metallic construction damage in bridge crane as subordinate system.2). According to the result of reliability analysis, we can get the result of the risk matrix of probability. The method of Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation also applies to reliability analysis. The risk matrix of probability and the risk matrix of affection are assessed by experts.3).We use the software Matlab to establish visualization of graphical user interface. The results can be showed on more clearly intuitively. User can operate it more easily.4).This paper puts forward statistical analysis process about collected corrosion data of crane and introduce three parameter power function about the depth of corrosion of crane. Applying Monte-Carlo and finite element technique, referring to thickness of plate, external load, limit of yielding and modulus of elasticity as parameters and intensity, distortion, flexion as the factors of failure modes, based on software Msc.nastran and Isight, we have reliability on metal structure of crane. At last, we use an ordinary bridge crane as an example and have a reliability analysis of its metallic construction.
