Motorcycle vibration is a significant factor of influencing motorcycle riding comfort, manipulation stability and driving safety. Motorcycle frame is the main bearing parts, which reliability and vibration response directly affect the reliability of the vehicle and comfort and safety. Taking typical motorcycle as research object, adopting finite element method to analysis vibration response of the frame on the rough road , the strength and fatigue life , to discusses the design phase and reliability prediction frame vibration response analysis method.First, establish three-dimensional model according to the actual frame , and the model is built into the unit chassis fem model and build Finite element analysis model of frame.Through the experimental modal analysis of frame structure, to understand the dynamic characteristics of the frame, and to calibrate finite element method ,it is the substructure for the subsequent finite element analysis model of the strength and vibration response analysis.Using the dynamic response of finite element method, With modal superposition of the theoretical basis, The random vibration analysis of the frame was done based on the modal analysis. And the displacement response and stress response inspired by the road incentive were obtained. The cumulative use coefficients of the frame were obtained though the fatigue life analysis. Analysis and evaluation of the static and dynamic performance were done according to the results of calculations. The results show that is meeting the requirements. The corresponding experimental results verify the correctness of the results of finite element analysis, Paper shows that the finite element analysis carried out at the design stage of the motorcycle frame to predict vibration and reliability. Thereby enhancing the success rate of the development of motorcycle frame.
