In the city center, people usually feel annoyance by lack of appropriate parking space, "parking is difficult" is becoming prominent increasingly. The author believes that tridimensional parking garage offers a high-efficiency parking mode to save space and save hours, it can effectively alleviate this problem.Based on this, this article puts forward the following research questions:what is the advantages of tridimensional parking garage? How many types does it have? What is characteristic of this types? What requirements does it meet when design? What is the trend of it? will some revolutionary parking mode emerge? Based on the issues, this article constitutes as follows:Chapter one describes the phenomenon of "parking is difficult" and the reasons, leads to the objects, the scope and the methodology of the research, and draw a frame of this article.Chapter two introduces the actuality of tridimensional parking garage at home and abroad, and introduces the specific categories and characteristics, then by showing five examples further illustrate the development of its actuality.Based on the investigation of current domestic vehicle's basic dimensions, chapter three analyses the vehicle size and dimensions of parking spaces. The size of parking space should be under different types of vehicles make a different design, and through specific partition and reasonable management to increase parking space utilization.From tridimensional parking garage its own requirements, chapter four analyses its internal transportation organization design, technical design and management system design. Good internal transportation organization is to achieve the basic conditions for convenient parking; various types of technical design is elements of architectural design, including structural,fire, ventilation, drainage and lighting; management system for improving the parking efficiency and ensuring the security of vehicle plays an important role.From the relation between tridimensional parking garage and city, chapter five explains its design requirements under the constraint of city planning and the demand of urban aesthetics, and explains its implementation process by a specific project planning.
