The Research On The Adaptability Design On The Waterfront Space In The City Of Cold Area

Water is the context of the city, the support of the city, and also the soul of the city. Waterfront space supplies the dear water environment and public green space, which is also the carrier of culture, so it is the key point of urban plan and research. Most cold cities in our country are not developed; the special weather and landscape will make peculiar effect on waterfront space construction.The paper firstly introduces the theories about waterfront space, and analyzes the urban waterfront space problems in the cold cities according to current condition.
