By starting from Landscape Ecology, using the theories of Ecology, Urban plan- ning, Urban Ecology, Horticulture, and combining the quantitative analysis with qual- itative analysis, a comprehensive analysis is taken on Kaifeng's urban greenland sys- tem. On this basis, the paper attaches importance on its landscape ecology constructive principles, basis, distributions and contents of Kaifeng's urban greenland system with the constructive purpose of stressing urban charactistic scene and improving urban land- scape.
