First,seventy-two Wistar rats at 60d of age weight range from 180 to 220g were randomly divided into six groups and three Chinese traditional medicine formula for screening were all composed of several component that have the function of enhance the ability of hypoxia-resistance,the positive control formula was composed of Rhodiola,The groups I,group2 and group3 were treated with three Chinese traditional medicine formula 1,II and III.the group 4 was treated with Rhodiola formula as positive control group and group 5 and group 6 were treated with water as negative control group and normal group respectively.All the groups were administrated for 2 weeks and the hypoxia-resistance effect of the Chinese traditional medicine formulas and the Rhodiola formula to rats were examined during hypoxia and serum hormones concentration including adrenoeorticotropic hormone (ACTH) cortisol , insulin concertation related to hypoxia -resistance were detected and adrenal gland zona fasiculata cell ultra microstructure were observed.The results showed that the living time of the third Chinese traditional medicine formula group rats were significantly longer (P<0.01) than that of negative control group rats, and longer than the positive control group (P<0.05),and the living time of the third Chinese traditional medicine formula group rats was longest in all groups.The serum cortisol ACTH concentration of the Chinese traditional medicine formula group rats and positive control group rats were higher significantly than that of negative control group, but the third Chinese traditional medicine formulas group is approximate to normal group.The serum insulin concentration of anoxic group rats were lower normal group, the third Chinese traditional medicine formulas group is approximate to normal group. The mitochondria damage of negative control group was serious than the traditional medicine formula groups and the positive group. It was concluded that the medlar and three traditional Chinese medicinal formulas agents can enhance the hypoxia-resistance of rats through regulating the activity ofneuroendocrine alter and lessen the impairment to mitochondria membrane and organelle of adrenal gland zona fasiculata cell caused by superoxide and accelerating energy metabolism. The mitochondria damage of the third group rats was most light.the third Chinese traditional medicine formula is most efficientSecond, eighty-four Wistar rats at 60d of age were randomly divided into seven groups, five dose of the third Chinese traditional medicine formula (200%, 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%), negative control group and normal group.All the groups were administrated for 2 weeks and during hypoxia and rats erythrocyte, HB, SOD, GSH-PX MDA related to hypoxia-resistance were detected and cardiac muscle cell ultra microstructure were observed.The results showed that the living time of 100% dose group rats not only enhance the living time during hypoxia, but also reduce level of erythrocyte and Hb.The living time of 100% dose group rats were significantly longer (P<0.01) than that of negative control group rats. SOD and GSH-PX of All dose group rats were higher than that of negative control group rats.but lower that of normal group rats. 100% dose group was approximate to normal group. MDA of All dose group rats were lower than that of negative control group rats.but higher that of normal group rats. 100% dose is optimum dose .100% dose group can lessen the impairment to mitochondria! membrane and organelle of cardiac muscle caused by superoxide .Finally, seventy-two Wistar rats were randomly divided into six groups administrating for two days ,four days ,six days ,ten days ,fifteen days and negative control group.Before and after administrating,blood from vein of tail and SOD, GSH-PX, MDA concertation and the living time of in hypoxia were detected. The results showed that the living time of fifteen days for administrating was longest ,the third Chinese traditional medicine formula can improve content of resisting oxidation enzyme.
