| The key techniques involved in float system for the production of flue-cured tobacco seedling include the media, trays and nutrient solutions. Experiments included seven treatments of medium ratio and nutriculture ratio were carried out to study their effects on tobacco transplant growth and development in floating system. 1.Medium ingredient:(T)25%sepiolit+15%fine perlite+15%vermiculite+45%carbonized chaff; (2)30%carbonized chaff+20%fine perlite+20%vermiculite+30%peat; (3)55%peat+20%fine perlite+25%vermiculite. 2.Nurtriculture ingredient: (1)50%NH4NO3+35%(NH4)2SO4+15%CO(NH2)2;(2)40%NH4NO3+30%(NH4)2SO4+30%CD(NH2)2; (3)25%NH4NO3+30%(NH4)2SO4+45%CO(NH2)2; (4)60% NH4NO3+40%(NH4)2SO4.The results showed that: 1.The media mix of peat, vermiculite, fiae perlite and carbonized chaff worked as well as the media mix of peat, vermiculite and fine perlite which was recommended to tobacco transplant production. Carbonized chaff which was the native source as medium materials instead completely of peat was feasible, and instead partially of peat was more saitable to tobacco root development. 2. Sepiolit which worked as well as vermiculite and fine perlite. Sepiolit can be used asinorganic media. It is necessary to study continuously for the suitableadditive. 3.Nutriculture with small quantity urea was of benefit to tobaccoseedling growth and development. |
