A Virtual Design Of Paddy And Wheat Reaping Machine With Revolving Chain Cutter

Though reaping paddy and wheat with machine becomes popular these days inland, the level of machine reaping in south is quite lower. The main reason is that present harvesting machinery is not very fit for the harvest task in southern paddy-field. So making a kind of reaping machine, which is small in size, lower price and fine in quality, fitting for the harvesting task in southern condition, is quite necessary.This dissertation, a new walking paddy and wheat reaping machine with revolving -chain cutter was designed by using past researching result of the reaping machine for reference and adopting ADAMS software made by American MDI company. Select the preferable parameters by simulating and studying the kinetic framework and virtual prototype. Simulating and studying the virtual prototype and concluding as the following: (1) There is no leak-cut field but just a little re-cut field by selecting the following parameters: reaping machine moves forward with 0.9m/s, kinetic cutters move with 2.1m/s, the distance between two kinetic cutters is 19.05mm, the amount of the cutter section is 2, kinetic cutter is 48mm high, the slide cutting angle is 30? (2) The parameters of the driving system were reasonably selected, and it can transfer the power to each framework and meet each movement framework demand. (3) Frameworks in the machine are arranged quite reasonably, and they do not intervene in each other when they are moving. Handling the machine is quite easy, the force handling by the right and the left hand separately is 6.27N and 7.5N. All movement velocities of the framework are fit to the advance design. (4) It can make certain the key designparameters in advance, and it can shorten the exploitation period, save capital and improve the product quality. The design will supply reliable parameter in making physical machine. On the other hand, the revolving -chain cutter including the excellent characteristic in reciprocating cutter and revolving cutter, and it is simple in the driving system, balanced on working, high quality in cutting, small vibration and little power cost in cutting, hence the reaping machine will apply commendably in the future.
