A set of improved method of test for performance of Forest Fire Suppression Hand Pump and a set of test system are presented to solve the problems lied in standard of Forest Fire Suppression Hand Pump in this article. On the basis of Hand Pump test-bed, the systems of test and control are redesigned. The data acquisition system consists of sensor, amplifier, data acquisition card and professional test software-LabVIEW. The improved test methods mentioned in this article can exclude the influence produced by manual operation, so the results acquired with these improved methods can reflect the actual working condition and objectively evaluate the quality of Hand Pump. Comparing the results of different production of Hand Pump, the problems of material and structure lied in homemade are discovered. Some corresponding resolvents are presented in the article to help manufacturing enterprise improve product quality. This research paves the way for implementation, supplement and modification of the standard of Hand Pump.
