Agricultural water-saving is a permanent cosmopolitan problem. The task of water-saving is more formidable especially in developing countries. The stress field of water saving is agriculture because it accounts for 72% of total water dosage. Our government has taken the agricultural water-saving seriously in recent years. Diversified traditional and modern water-saving technologies have exerted a tremendous effect on our country. Different high-tech begin to apply to the agricultural water-saving while the traditional technology is updating and modern technology is developing. In this paper, application technology of GIS, RS and GPS used in agricultural water-saving is researched. Some tentative phase productions have been acquired.The research object is Yangling. In this paper, the special topic of digital agricultural water-saving in Yangling has been researched based on the technology of the national 863 Program of Integration and Demonstration of Water Saving Agricultural Comprehensive Technological System in the Zone of Northwest Semi-humid Channel Irrigation. The paper gives priority to the contents. The system of digital water-saving in Yangling is made of the database, graphical and model base. It will lay a foundation for the research of precision irrigation, water-saving manage and adjustment to planting framework.The requirement analysis was made by the design method of the software engineering. The data was collected and disposed through the software of GIS. The modules provided with the function of specialty analysis were implemented with the programming language of facing-objects. The system was completed on the flat of GIS software named of SuperMap launched by the Company of SuperMap in Beijing. Then, the modules were integrated in the system and the flat with the primary function of decision-making was completed.Working and productions gained by this paper included:(1) Applications of GIS, RS and GPS used in the water-saving was researched. We name it digital water-saving which supervises the implement, design and decision-making of water-saving.(2) Flat of digital agricultural water-saving in Yangling was formed. The working included the acquirement analysis, design of database and model. The analysis report which has good reference effect on the similar system constructed in other areas was formed. The frame of digital agricultural water-saving decision-making model was put forward. The method of building special models was researched, such as special acquirement analysis, math modeling, programming and system integration. The method is of universal employing value.(3) A set of methods fitting for the digital agricultural water-saving construction was put forward through taking the Yangling as an example. It gives the reference to the later digital agricultural water-saving. And, a set of methods of data collection fitting for the country was researched.
