The Index System Of Urban Forest Sustainable Development

Sustainable development is a hotspot, which concerned at large and discussed widely in the world nowadays. To achieve sustainable development is the direction of all the countries.Urban environmental problems, where were caused by the increment of urban population and the development of economy, make urban forest appearance fast. How to evaluate the sustainable development capacity of urban forest is a hotspot nowadays. And to establish an indicators system for the sustainable development capacity of urban forest is important and basic to evaluation.According to the situations, this paper does the following work:In the first part, this article expatiates the background of being put forward of the conception of sustainable development and its meanings in the first; the background, development and current research in urban forest; and points out the important meaning of the urban forest sustainable development.In the second part, this article summarized and analyzed the evaluation system for the sustainable development of forest resources and urban forest at home and abroad. Based on the theories of forest ecology, landscape ecology, artistry, system and sustainable development; using the principles for science, hierarchy process, easy operation, movement and synthesize; also using the system analysis methods for quantity and quality, the index system of urban forest sustainable development was discussed and researched specially. Combined with the situation in china, the sustainable development index system of urban forest, including 4 layers and 30 indicators, has been put forward.In the third part, according to the index system has been established, based on the characteristics of society, economy, resource and environment of building urban forest, especially thinking about the obtaining of statistical information of the studying area, this article determined the factors, methods and the reference data of calculating.In the fourth part, using the indicators system, evaluation of sustainable development of urban forest in Jinhua which has been made, the comprehensive index is 0.819. It has been shown that urban forest in Jinhua city is at an elementary sustainable development stage.In the end, on the basis of comprehensive index, combined with the current situation of urban forest in Jinhua city, some policy suggestions have been made. About strengthen reforestation of the old urban to raise the reforestation cover rate of the urban; strengthen building in the street and river green spaces; building a complex community with tree, shrub and grass abiding by the theory of ecology; exerting landscape art effect of urban forest to enrich the city landscape; and paying attention to propaganda and application lever of market.
