Estimation Of The Genetic Parameters For Main Quantitative Traits In Aohan Fine Wool Sheep

In this study,haif-sib correlation in sire, sib analysis within units were take were used to obtain estimates of Aohan Fine Wool Sheep's genetic parameters including Birth Weight(BW) , Weaning Litter Weight(WLW) , Weaning Litter Staple Fineness(WLSF),One-age Staple Fineness(OASF),One-age Staple Length(OASL),One-age Wool Yield(OAWY) , One-age Weight(OAW) , Two-age Staple Fineness(TASF),Two-age Staple Length(TASL),Two-age Wool Yield(TAWY),Two-age Weight (TAW)。The results obtained as follows can supply reference basis to Aohan Fine Wool Sheep breeding programs。 1. The heritability estimates of BW,WLW,WLSF,OASF,OASL,OAWY,OAW,TASF,TASL,TAWY,TAW were all from 0.1 to 0.7。 2. Genetic correlations between WLW and OAW,WLSF and OASF,TASL and TAWY,OASF and TASF,OASL and OASF,TASL and TASF,OASF and TASL were respectively 0.5037,0.7319,0.6348,0.76970,-0.2012,-0.1011,-0.0854。Phenotypic correlations were cosistent with genetic correlations fundamentally。 3. Repeatability estimates of Birth Weight(BW) , Weaning Litter Weight(WLW),Staple Length(SL),Staple Fineness(SF),Wool Yield(WY),Body Weight(BW) were 0.48,0.31,0.63,0.45,0.46 and 0.58,respectively.As a word,SL,SF,WY and BW had a very high Repeatability。...
