Mastering information scientifically and correctly of soil and fertilizer was an important basis to the precision agriculture and scientific regulation on agricultural production. It was considered that equilibrium fertilization technology is a mature modern fertilizing technology in the inland and overseas. Computer recommend fertilizing system was proved to be an effective popularizing equilibrium fertilization technology measures. With the development and popularizing application of network technology, computer recommend fertilizing on the network would be used widely in the future.Taking the 125th regiment of the 7th Agricultural Shi as basis in Xinjiang, the soil nutrient in field of cotton manage & recommend fertilizing information system is found. The system is based on the theory of WebGIS technology, database technology, crop equilibrium fertilization, VB technology. According to the characters of regional soil fertilization, different breeds of cotton, considering field as a handling unit, we set up the system whose functions were soil nutrient management, professional fertilizing instruction, SQL informational query and far-ranging data management of soil fertilization. Applying the Geoestatisitics, we analyzed the spatial variability of soil nutrients of the 125th regiment and affirmed the instructive function of the equilibrium fertilization technology. The main results are as follows:1 Using the SuperMap IS and VB as tools, WebGIS-based information database of fields & soil nutriment information management system was established. The system had the functions of browsing GIS information datum, SQL query, printing and making special picture.2 Combining fertilization model with soil nutriment information system, and applying equilibrium fertilization database technology, we established the recommend fertilizing information system. The system could provide reference to crop fertilization on network..3 Combining geoestatisitics with GIS, the spatial variation of soil nutrients was analyzed in the 125th regiment in 7th Agricultural Shi. The research based on Kriging method was handled by ArcGIS. Attributive data was integrated with geographical data of system variables by GIS. The research on geoestatisitics spatial variation in large spatial scale was more convenient. It was showed that the spatial correlations of total nitrogen, organic matter, available potassium and available phosphorus at this scale were moderate.
