In order to know the biological effect of singer and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC on maize, and provide its theoretical basis for the chemical regulation and the application of PP333 and CC. On the basis of a series of concentrations in advance, this scheme designed four treatments of seed soaking contrastive experiments: ①H2O (CK); ② 50mg ·L-1 PP333 ③ 300 mg · L-1CC ; ④ 50mg · L-1 PP333 + 300mg · L-1 CC. The research findings were presented briefly as follows:(l)The single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all accelerated the high quality seedling building. The sequence of such applications was PP333+CC > CO PP333 >CK.Compared with the control, soaking with PP333 diminished the seedling height and leaf length significantly, increased the leaf width, enhanced the root/shoot ratio significantly.Compared with the control, the effect of seed soaking with CC on the seedling height and leaf length , leaf width is not obvious, but soaking with CC could increase the number of roots and the longest root length,the fresh weight of roots, enhance the root/shoot ratio.Compared with the control, soaking with PP333+CC diminished the seedling height and leaf length significantly, increased the leaf width and the number of roots as well as the longest root length, the fresh weight of roots, enhanced the root/shoot ratio significantly.(2)The single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all accelerated the photosynthesis of seedling, improved the photosynthetic character.Compared with the control, single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all increased the contents of Chla and Chlb,Chl(a+b),Car, promoted the photosynthetic pigment of maize seedling to absorb and transform the light energy more coordinating even more, promoted significantly the Pn and Gs,Ci,Tr, improved the values of Chla/Chlb, enhanced the photosynthetic capability of seedling.(3) The single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all accelerated the root activity of maize seedling , improved the physiological activities of plants.Compared with the control, single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all increased the amount of bleeding sap and root activity of maize seedling, increased the activity of NR in roots and leaves, enhanced the soluble sugar content at 2 to 4 leaf stage and the amino acids content at 1,2,4 leaf stage of roots and leaves. The treatments couldsustain the effect to later growth stage, and enhance the soluble sugar content and the amino acids content of bleeding sap and leaves, slow the senescence of roots.(4) The single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all could strengthen the stress-resistant potentiality.Compared with the control, single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all could restrain the relative leakage rate of electrolytes of roots and leaves, increase the SOD activity.(5)The single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all improved the ear characters, promoted the yield of maize.Compared with the control, single and cooperative applications of PP333 and CC all increased the first and second stem diameter and the capability of lodging resistance of maize, enhanced the ear height and weight per thousand grains, diminished the bear top length, increased the ear wider, improved the ear characters significantly, increased the yield of maize significantly.
