For the sake of the original yield of new plant ramie and the fiber qualities that the further exaltation, experiment in the foundation of ramie low-branch seedling breeding and the method of its big farmland seedling period management, probe into physiological character of ramie low-branch seeding breeding. This research takes two ramie varieties as experiment material, the difference treats on the same processing to them: the treat one(T1) for before skewer topping, the treat two(T2) for skewer behind a week topping, and establish check against at the same time . Adopting the methods of cultivation in the field and indoor comprehensive analysis that combine together, through system research its modality fornk the photosynthesis character, the root physiological character, and the nourishment characteristic etc, get as follows mainly as a result:1. The time of topping in the seedling stage have something to do with material sensitivity to topping, the skewer seedling set up in the appearance expressing to the adaptability of low-branch seedling.2. Topping promote photosynthesis of the ramie low-branch seedling, providing the stronger material foundation for its growth, supporting upper part of one more branch appearance.3. Topping make the root volume and gross absorption area and active absorption area and ratio face area of the ramie low-branch seedling large and increase its accumulation of soluble protein in root of individual plant and promote its reducing power of root. The strong root and the high light effect leaf construct together for the good material condition of low-branch seedling growth.4. Topping increase N, P, K , the soluble sugar accumulation quantity of individual plant in the seedling stage of the ramie low-branch seedling and increase the soluble protein accumulation quantity in leave of individual plant and promote NR vigor of leave. The nourishment metabolism in the seedling period is prosperous.5. The advantage of low-branch seedling is to have the certain time restrict, so say that should move to plant the big farmland to let branch in time grows up individual plant, making it own the independent root department, continue to keep the prosperous growth the power head. T1 of the ramie XiangNo.3 (breeding in July 1) should move to plant the big farmland about July 29.
