| The complicated physiognomies and varied climates in Gansu province developed the abundant vegetation resources, it can increase ornamental species and meet people's requirement in landscape diversity, water and soil holding and deep process using, etc. to select and cultivate and exploit them. Based on former research, four plants distributed in Gansu, including Hypericum patulum Thumb, Dasiphora fruticosa(l.)Rydb., Syringa laciniata mil , being shrubs, and Chamaenerion angustifolium (Linn.) Scop. being multi-year herbage, were selected, their growth rules, biology characteristics and zoology adaptability were recognized for the first times in northern temperature area of Xinglongshan in the west of the Qinling mountain by field controlling examination, variance analysis, linear regression and quantitative analysis. Hypericum patulum Thumb has beautiful branch form, thick bright green leaves, growing three time and blossoming out three times continuously in a year, being well in fertility ventilate dank soil and good illumination conditions, temperature is the most important factor to growth, having good resisting ability to plant diseases and insect pests. Dasiphora fruticosa(l.)Rydb. has bushy penniform leaves, golden flowers blossoming out two to three times in a year, and may grow in several type of soils, flower density and flower diameter diminished, flower chroma descended while branch length increasing in good earth water and fertility conditions, lower temperature and humidity were well to growth, powdery mildew was found in leaves. Syringa laciniata mil has amaranth flowers, variform leaves and elegant branches, having good low temperature endurance, growing well in loosen soil, good illumination and lower flat layer earth temperature, black rot was found in leaves. Chamaenerion angustifolium (Linn.) Scop. Has amaranth flowers ,green leaf as willow leaf, blossoming out two times in a year, growing well in dank soil, good illumination, lower air temperature and lower flat layer earth temperature. Using ways as ornamentals, medicinal materials, water and soil holding plants and deep process materials were summarized by biology characters observation and zoology adaptability research. The proposal how to exploiting accurately and synthetically were tabled. |
