Research On The Resources And Flora Characters Of Wild Vegetable In Henan Province

Wild vegetables,as a new variety,can richen people's food,as well as main seed resources of developing new varieties of vegetables.With the development of people's living quality and the enhancement of their sense of keeping fit,the demands for the markets of wild vegetables are enlarging constantly.Thus,the acclimation,cultivation, processing and industrialization have a wide prospect.On the basis of the others' research,the author gets a clear investigation of Henan varieties of wild vegetables and their exploitation and utilization by his investigation and research on Henan resources of wild vegetables.The results of the research are followed:Henan has 328 varieties of wild vegetables,that have been found,belonging to 37 families,102 categories,including Compositae(58 varieties),Liliaceac(34),Brassicaeae(34),Umbelliferae(24),Labiatae(22),Araliaceous(17),Chenopodiaceae(16),Campanulaceae(11),Leguminosae(11),Primulaceae(10)etc.The ten varieties occupy 72.30%of the total number of the wild vegetables.Among the wild plants,herb occupies 71.95%of the total number of the wild vegetables,90 varieties are annual or biennial plants.124 varieties belong to the vivacious plants,4 fujimoto class;92 kimoto class.1/3 varieties of the wild vegetables belongs to field wild vegetables,2/3mountland and forest wild vegetables.According to the parts for food,the wild vegetables in Henan can be divided into the following varieties:leaf vegetables(223),root(41),brass(30),fruit vegetables(24),bamboo shoot(6),and bracken(4).In Henan,38 varieties of wild vegetables have been exploited and utilized,occupying11.58%of the total.181 varieties can be exploited,occupying 55.18%.109 varieties are being researched,33.23%.According to the distribution of Henan geographic features and wild vegetables, there are four geographic regions:Huanhuaihai Plain,Yuxi and the north slope of Mount beifuniu Yuxi,mountain land and hill of Taihang Mount,the south slope of the mount land,Nanfuniushan,Yuxi,hill and Nanyang Basin,Dabieshan of Huainan,the mountain land of Tongbai and its hill.Through analysis of the resources of Henan wild vegetables,the author gives the following suggestions.
