The first experiment: Ninety-six piglets weaned at the age of twenty-eight days were divided into four groups with four replications in which six piglets were in one cage respectively . The result showed that Lactobacillus increased average daily feed intake (P<0.05) and average daily gain (P<0.01) and reduced feed/gain ratio (P<0.01) .The effects of Lactobacillus was better than that of flavomycin in diet of weaned piglet. The second experiment: The results of two digestive experiments in the second week and the fourth week of the first experiment showed that Lactobacillus increased apparent digestibility of Ether Extract (EE) and P of piglet (P<0.05 or P<0.01). There were no different for the digestibility of Crude Protein and Ca (P>0.05) . EE apparent digestibility fed with Lactobacillus in the fourth week was better than that with flavomycin (P<0.01) . All digestibilities in the group of Lactobacillus in the second week were higher than that in the group of flavomycin (P>0.05) . Three piglets were slaughtered in each group after the experiment, the result showed that Lactobacillus enhanced lipase activity and a-amylase activity in pancreatic gland and duodenum chyme (P<0.01). These two enzymes of piglets fed with Lactobacillus were higher in pancreatic gland (P>0.05) and in duodenum chyme (P<0.01) than that of piglets fed with flvomycin. The third experiment: Escherichia coli. in jejunum and ileum chyme were determined. The results indicated that the population of Escherichia coli. was significant different in each group (P<0.01) . The lowest was in the group of flavomycin and the highest was in the group of basic diet . The result indicated that though flavomycin was extremely sensitive to G~+ germs, it still could inhibit part of G" germs, and its effectiveness was better than Lactobacillus chosen in this experiment. The experiment of immunity antibody titers in the group of Lactobacillus showed that the rising speed of titer was the fastest and the slowest the group of basic diet in the first three weeks. The antibody titers reach the highest summit, and the group of Lactobacillus was the highest followed with the group of combination, and basic diet was the lowest. Antibody titers began to fall in the fourth week, but the reducing speed in the group of Lactobacillus was the lowest. This showed that...
