| The roe deer is precious animal of deer family and it belongs to breast-feed class, true best subclass, even hooves order, ruminant suborder, deer family, roe deer genus in taxonomy. Most researchers considered that the roe deer should be devided in to three subspecies including Siberian subspecies (C.c.pygargus), Europe subspecies (C.c.capreolus) and China subspecies (C.c.bedfordi)). The roe deers are important special economic animal in china.. The roe deer products( meat , blood , fur, antler, heart, buck reproductive organ) are of great medicinal value with a vast rang of marketing prospect. However, because of hunting and killing, the resource of wild roe deer reduced quickly and the ecological balance was destroyed seriously. Domestication of wild roe deer is a scientific way to preserve the resource and to maintain the balance.The authors have studied the blood routine examination and the rule of reproduction and physiology in roe deer. The result of blood routine examination in roe deer indicated that the CT of buck was 135±47(s)and doe was 143±38(s). ESR of buck was 0.41±0.25,1.11±0.49,2.41±1.22, 3.70±1.77 and doe was 0.38±0.10, 0.96±0.31, 1.79±0.77, 3.49±1.37 respectively in 1 hour, in 6 hours, in 12 hours, in 24 hours. HB of buck was 144±23 (g/L)and doe was 138±18 (g/L), RBC of buck was 12.15±0.42(1012/L)and doe was 11.81±0.39(1012/L). PCV of buck was 50.7±3.73(%)and doe was 47.5±2.58 (%),MCV of buck was 41.21 (fl)and doe was 40.28 (fl), CHC of buck was 284 (g/L)and doe was 299 (g/L), PTC of buck was 431.42±3.87 (109/L)and doe was 428.54±3.69 (109/L), WBC of buck was ♂8.34±1.23 (109/L)and doe was 7.88±1.17(109/L),LCCof buck was 46±3.23,3±0.17,2±0.12,44±3.89, 5±0.24,respectively. The percentage of leukocytes, acidic leukocytes, alkalescence, lymphocytes and monocytes, LCC of doe was 45±3.98,3±0.25,3±0.14,45±3.83and6±0.47, respectively.The roe deer is short-day breeding and monoestrous animal. The age of sexual maturation is 14 months or more. The buck showed sexual exciting and mating ability during whole breeding season. But estrous behaviors in does were not significant. When does get close to bucks actively, it is the best time for mating. Practically, the breeding mode was one buck mating multiple does at the ratio of 1:4.When embryos develop to 32-cell morulae stage, the does enter a delayed implantation period as long as 5 months. The concentration of progesterone in the serum before implantation remained at low level which was not different significantly to that of non-pregnant doe. The concentration of oestradiol in the serum remained at low level during cleavage and delayed implantation but reach a peak before implantation and then decreased and maintained at a higher level than during cleavage and delayed implantaion. |
