The main results of the study are as follows:(1) Collecting, comparing and determining the resources of more than 50 kinds of quality sweet pea, then breed a fine new variety- 'Zhewan 1' from foreign material-'GW10' with system selection, the new variety has the characteristic of high-quality, high yield and fits for eat raw and process.(2) Carrying on the variety compared and produce test, the result indicates that 'Zhewan 1' has obviously superior characteristic of quality and yield contrasting the local mainly cultured variety - 'Zhongwan 6'. 'Zhewan 1' has come through the provincial new variety asserts on January 2006 already.(3) The show and demonstration of the new variety is the bridge joining breeding and popularizing, can promote the spreading of the new variety;Organizing and constructing a large scale area for seed producing, producing high-quality seed of new variety in a planned way, it was the important guarantee of the spreading of the new variety;The same time, studying the corresponding cultivation technique of new variety is necessary for the spreading of new variety.(4) Seeking the agent and deciding the reasonable price;Launching advertising will facilitates the spreading of new variety;Setting up the market service system such as technological consultation, manages, accident problems resolving, is the long-term guarantee for new variety spreading.
