AM fungi is a kind of soil useful microorganism which distrbutes in the soil system extensively. It can form symbiosis with host plant above 90 percent. The symbiosis promote host plant to absorb soil mineral element, modulate internal metabolize activity and growth. Nitrogen is one of the basical element for the plant internal metabolize and growth, and whether nitrogen supply well or not with plain and nutrient quality in nitrogen affect plant growth condition to a large extent. AM fungi can improve the utilizement of nitrogenous fertilizer in soil and reduce the fertilizer amount, which would be available to prevent soil biogeocenose from being badly polluted by excessive nitrogenous fertilizer. Under this circumstance, it is important about finding existence of mycorrhiza and studying absorption mechanism of mycorrhiza to nitrogen.Pot experiment was conducted to study the effect of nitrogen levels on the infection of AM fungi and study the related effect of AM fungi on the growth and chemical composition of Schisandra chinesis. The main results are following:It's showed that AM fungi and Schisandra chinesis can form symbioses efficiently. Inoculating AM fungi obviously develop mycorrhizal infection. The amount of nitrogen affect the growth and development of AM fungi and formation of mycorrhiza. when nitrogen application was 0.15 Ng/kg soil, the infecting rate can reach 66.7%.Inoculating AM fungi can improve chlorophyll, carotennoid and soluble protein content in leaves, which enhance photosynthesis and growth. In October 20th, the result showed that inoculating AM fungi can delay decreasing soluble protein furthermore, the soluble protein content of the inoculating has a little increase than the former'. It showed that the inoculating' has a little advantage than non-inoculating' in growth evening, so it can strengthen plant resistance and delay Schisandra chinesis canducity.Inoculating AM fungi can promote some chemical constituent. Experimental result showed that inoculating AM fungi can promote soluble sugar and reducing sugar content in leaves, rattans and roots. Inoculating AM fungi can also notably promote the medicine...
