Abstract/Summary:
Under different curing condition, for example ,different types of curing barn(bulk curing barn and conventional barn), loading way and loading density and so on, there are some difference in many aspects ,such as temperature, humidity in curing barn ,the quality of cured leaves and the change law of physiological biochemistry of tobacco leaves. Therefore, it is vital significant for tobacco planting to study the distribution of temperature, humidity in the bulk curing barn and so on . The distribution of temperature and humidity in the bulk curing barn and the change law of physiological biochemistry of tobacco leaves and the quality of cured leaves using three kinds of loading ways which are respectively tied tobacco leaves onto sticks, arrange tobacco leaves in order and random put tobacco leaves into the baskets were studied in the paper. The results showed that:1. The wind speed, wind temperature and wind pressure were well-distributed in the bulk curing barn. The curing schedule can be successfully achieved when the flue-cured tobacco leaves were tied onto sticks or were random put into the baskets and then loaded into the bulk curing barn for curing. While the curing schedule can't be smoothly achieved when the flue-tobacco leaves being arrange in order were singly loaded into the bulk curing barn for curing because the ventilating air can't ensure passes through the tobacco leaves which upseted down due to thoroughly wilted during the yellowing stage and leaves drying stage.2. During curing process, the water content was decreased slowly at former stage and fast in middle period, then was decreased slowly again at later stage. The rate of losing water was the slowest when the tobacco leaves being arrange in order were singly loaded into the bulk curing barn for curing. It was fast when the tobacco leaves were tied onto sticks or were random put into the baskets and then loaded into the bulk curing barn for curing. Comparing with the other two kinds of loading ways, the fast losing water stage was postponed when the tobacco leaves being arrange in order were singly loaded into the bulk curing barn for curing. Because that it was difficult to lose water after cutting down of the tobacco leaves.
