Yield of rice straw is two hundreds million in China annually, and Three Gorges reservoir region is one of the primary producing areas. On account of the techniques of straw utilization developed slowly, abundance of rice straw was burned or thrown aside, which has been became a major nonpoint source of pollution in Three Gorges reservoir region. It's signalitily for the solution of environmental pollution in Three Gorges reservoir region that put up a study on rational utilization of rice straw.Edible fungi can degrade lignocelluloses strongly, and much of them can be cultured with rich straw or other straw as substrate. The spent substrate contains abundant tropina, can be as animal feed or organic fertilizer. So that edible fungi are cultured with rich straw is an ecological processing mode. However, much of wood decaying edible fungi have poor yield with rice straw as substrate. From the viewpoint of application foundation, Pleurotus ostreatus that belongs to white rot fungus and Flammulina velutipes that belongs to brown rot fungus were selected as research material. Mycelium developing, yield of fruiting body and the quality of fruiting body when the two types of edible fungi were cultured with rice straw substrate; corncob substrate and the compound of rice straw and corncob respectively were studied. In order to understand the utilization of nutritious substance and the biotransformation of nutritious substance, the change of lignocelluloses in substrate and the transformational law of extracellular enzyme activity related to the degradation of major substrate constituent at different culture stages are studied emphatically. It will be theoretic reference for achieving high yield when edible fungi were cultured with rice straw substrate,...
