Study On The Correlation Of Constitution, Syndromes And Serum IgE Levels In Bronchial Asthma Patients

[Objective]By analyzing constitution common syndromes type and the level of serum IgE of bronchial asthma,explore correlation between them for providing more comprehensive theoretical and clinical reference in constitution studies, dialectical type, treatment and prevention of asthma.[Methods]Collect 80 cases of outpatients with asthma in Department of Respiratory of Dongfang Hospital,the second clinical medical college of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. as asthma group and 80 cases of health people as health group from the health checkup center of this hospital.Then according to observation table of the case, collect the relevant information and the level of serum IgE of the enrolled people and analyze the correlation of TCM constitution, syndrome types and the level of serum IgE of bronchial asthma. All data use a statistical software SPSS 20.0 for statistical analysis.[Results]1 In 80 cases of asthma group,5 cases of gentleness constitution, accounting for 6.25%;75 cases of biased constitution type, accounting for 93.75%; these distribution of different constitution type are as follows:20 cases of qi deficiency constitution, accounting for 25%; 20 cases of special intrinsic constitution accounting for 25%,18 cases of yang deficiency constitution, accounting for 22.5%;6 cases of yin deficiency constitution, accounting for 7.5%; 6 cases of phlegm-dampness constitution, accounting for 7.5%;4 cases of qi-depression constitution, accounting for 5%; 1 case of damp-heat constitution accounting for 1.25%;0 case of blood stagnation constitution.2 In 80 cases of asthma group,49 cases of asthma in acute stage are 27 cases of heat wheezing syndrome,18 cases of cold wheezing syndrome,3 cases of deficiency wheezing syndrome and 1 case of wind wheezing syndrome;In 31 cases of asthma in relieving stage are 13 cases of lung-qi deficiency syndrome,10 cases of deficiency of lung-spleen qi syndrome and 10 cases of qi deficiency of lung-kidney syndrome.3 Qi deficiency constitution, special intrinsic constitution and yang deficiency constitution in the asthma group were higher than these in the healthy group.4 The level of serum IgE in the asthma group and the healthy group were higher than that of the healthy group,they were different which were significance statistically (P<0.01).5 The level of serum IgE of different constitutions of patient with asthma were different statistically (P<0.05);Special intrinsic constitutionwere higher than qi deficiency constitution, they were different statistically (P<0.05). The level of serum IgE of qi deficiency constitution and Yang deficiency constitution had no statistical difference (P>0.05) The level of serum IgE of qi deficiency constitution and special intrinsic constitution had no statistical difference (P>0.05)6 The level of serum IgE and gentleness constitution were negatively related(P<0.01); The level of serum IgE of special intrinsic constitutionwere were positively related(P<0.01)7 The level of serum IgE in acute stage of asthma were higher than these in relieving stages of asthma; they had significant differences statistically (P<0.01).8 In acute stage of asthma the level of serum IgE of cold wheezing syndrome and heat wheezing syndrome had no statistical difference (P>0.05), In relieving stages, of asthma the level of serum IgE of lung-qi deficiency syndrome are lower than that of speen-qi deficiency syndrome and kidney qi deficiency syndrome,and they had differences statistically (P<0.05) speen-qi deficiency syndrome and kidney-qi deficiency syndrome had no differences statistically (P>0.05)9 The distribution of syndrome of asthma in different constitutions of 80 cases of asthma group are:deficiency of Lung-qi syndrome in gentleness constitution are more common;Heat wheezing syndrome, deficiency of lung-spleen qi syndrome in qi deficiency constitution are more common;Cold wheezing syndrome in yang deficiency constitution are more;Heat wheezing syndrome are more in yin deficiency constitution;Cold wheezing syndrome and heat wheezing syndrome are more in special intrinsic constitution.10 Cold wheezing syndrome and yang deficiency constitution were positively related (P<0.05); Lung deficiency syndrome and gentleness constitution were positively related (P<0.01); Lung-spleen deficiency syndrome and qi deficiency constitution were positively related (P<0.05)。11 The level of serum IgE of patient with asthma and merger of allergic rhinitis were higher than these without allergic rhinitis,they had significant differences statistically (P<0.01)12 The level of serum IgE of patient with asthma with family history were higher than these without family history,they had significance differences statistically (P<0.01).[Conclusion]1 Constitutions of patient with asthma are mainly Qi deficiency constitution, yang deficiency constitution,special intrinsic constitution.2 Some correlation was observed between the level of serum IgE and constitution and syndrome types of patient with asthma. the level of serum IgE could be used as a reference for constitution studies and the diagnosis of syndrome types of the asthma..3 The constitution and syndrome of patient with asthma are related closely, Lung-qi deficiency syndrome in gentleness constitution are more common;Heat wheezing and lung-spleen qi deficiency syndrome in qi deficiency constitution are more common; Cold wheezing syndrome in yang deficiency constitution are more;Heat wheezing syndrome are more in yin deficiency constitution;Cold wheezing syndrome and heat wheezing syndrome are more in special intrinsic constitution.
