| ObjectiveIn order to treat the slow transit constipation which combined the psychological and mental disorders, this experiment used the Tongfu Jieyu method worked in with laparoscopic assisted subtotal colectomy (LASC). Through the clinical researches which are randomized, blinded and compared, it can be evaluated the role and applications of Tongfu Jieyu method treatment in the slow transit constipation merged the mental disorder. The results could provide the references and experiences for the diagnosis and treatments of related diseases.MethodsBoth the sib-pairs and random case-control designs were used in this experiment. Used the 64 suffered from slow transit constipation combined psychological and mental disorders hospitalized patients from the department of constipation in Chengdu Anorectal Hospital randomized into the experimental group and the control group. The experimental group was consisted of laparoscopic assisted subtotal colectomy in harmony with Tongfu Jieyu method after the surgery. The control group was build by the cases which were only used the laparoscopic assisted subtotal colectomy.There are 33 cases in the experimental group and 31 cases in the control group. Adopted the prospective clinical observation, took the notes for the two groups respectively about the evaluating indicators before the operation,4 weeks after the operation,8 weeks after the operation and the 12 weeks after. The evaluated index should included the score from the Constipation Scoring System, the total number both and each distribution situations from Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression, health-related quality of life for gastrointestinal, the Traditional Chinese Medicine System score, criterion of therapeutical effect. In addition, the slow transit constipation curative standard, the Psychological and mental disorders curative standard and Traditional Chinese medicine curative effect standard should be judged. Collected those index into SPSS17.0 system to be analyzed and statistics, while P<0.05 could be called the differences among all groups were significant, means this experiment has statistical significance.ResultsIn contrast with the two groups patients before the operations from the points of Hamilton Anxiety Scale score, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression score, health-related quality of life for gastrointestinal score, the Traditional Chinese Medicine System score, Wexner Constipation score view, there are significant no differences (P>0.05). Then move to the after operations to compare,4 weeks later, there was no significant difference between the two groups not only from the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression, but also the Wexner Constipation score (P>0.05).8 weeks after the operations, there are statistical differences compared the two groups about their scores both from Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression (P<0.05). Recovered 12 weeks from operations, compared from the Hamilton Anxiety Scale score, Hamilton Depression Rating Scale for Depression score, health-related quality of life for gastrointestinal score, Traditional Chinese Medicine System score, the curative effect of Psychological and mental disorders and traditional Chinese medical, it can be found that there are significant differences (P<0.05). In the same time, the Wexner Constipation score has no significant difference (P>0.05).ConclusionTongfu Jieyu method combined the laparoscopic assisted subtotal colectomy to treat slow transit constipation which with Psychological and mental disorders has the advantages such as obvious analgesic effect on diseases, much safer and cheaper compared with the laparoscopic assisted subtotal colectomy. On a whole, use Tongyu Jiefu method to help patients with constipation is more than worth to be studying and popularizing, also should be recommended as a high clinical value therapeutic tool.
