Study On The Insect Species Diversity Of Fengyangshan Mountain National Nature Reserve In Zhejiang Province

The insect species in Fengyangshan Mountain National Nature Reserve of Zhejiang province were systematically investigated from 2007 to 2009. According to the survey and references,1,690 species were recorded,belonging to 25 orders,239 families and 1161 genera, including 1 new genus and 64 new species. Among them, 4 genera and 7 species were newly to China, 113 species were new to Zhejiang Province. The number of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Diptera and Hymenoptera accounted for 55.6%, 71.1%, 72.4% of the total number of familiy, genera and species quantity. The monotypic families, oligotypic families and mono-genus families, oligo-genus families were the dominant groups in these four orders, which took up 79.4% for the total specimens.Richness index, dominance index, diversity index, evenness index were used to study the diversity of 11 representative habitats, the seasonal changing regularity of individuals and species were also studied, and then the results were compared with Tianmushan mountain and Longwangshan mountain in Zhejiang Province. The results show that the stability and richness of insect communities in Fengyangshan mountain National Nature Reserve was poor, but the individuals and species were changed with the season, the dominant species were all obvious.The insect fauna was made up of Oriental species, 23.1%, Palaearctic species, 3.8%, Eurytopic species, 10.0%, East Asia, 63.1%. East Asia Species was the main component, and Oriental Species was predominate. Insect distribution both in China and worldwide were analyzed. The results show that insect fauna of this area was more similar to insect fauna in the south than in the north of China, and was most similar to Japan. In addition, comparison of insect fauna with Tianmushan mountain and Longwangshan mountain suggest that China distribution species in Fengyangshan mountain had the highest proportion, showed obviously unique and ancient. Studies on the geological vicissitude of Fengyangshan Mountain showed that insect in this area settled and evoluted after the formation of mountains when the volcanic erupted of Yanshan mountain movement.According to the study, some advices about the protection and the usage of insect resources in Fengyangshan mountain National Nature Reserve were given.
