Analysis On Insect Diversity And Fauna Of Emeifeng Nature Reserve In Fujian

Emeifeng Nature Reserve is located in the middle of Wuyi Mountains, and its insect species is richness.2218 insect species belonging to 25 orders and 257 families were found in this nature reserve through specimen collection, identification and literature analysis. Lepidoptera and Coleoptera species were the most, accounted for 25% and 21.85% of the total respectively. The species number of Emeifeng Nature Reserve was the second comparing with other 5 nature reserves. The richness index of Emeifeng Nature Reserve was the second comparing with 8 national nature reserves and 2 provincal nature reserves, only lower to Wuyishan Nature Reserve.Based on the world animal geographical division,25 distribution types of insect faunas were illustrated in Emeifeng Nature Reserve, most of them were Oriental species and Oriental, Palaearctic cross species, accounted for 40.94% and 42.88% of the total respectively. Based on the Chinese animal geographical division,53 distribution types of insect faunas were illustrated in Emeifeng Nature Reserve, the species of central China, central China and southern China cross, central China and southern China and southwest China cross were 17.85% ,21.51% and 13.57% of the total respectively. There were 1174 species in above 3 distribution types, accounting for 52.93%.Emeifeng Nature Reserve is in the Oriental region. The result showed that the fauna composition of this nature reserve were main Oriental realm, Oriental and Palaearctic realm, the insect species was rather richness. So it is necessary to strengthen the scientific protection and rational utilization.
