| The production situation of Longya lilium (Lilium brownii F. E. Brown var. viridulum Baker) in Shaoyang district was investigated and studies on bulb in vitro induction as well as detoxification. The main researching results are as follows:The market investigation demonstrates that the current production allows no optimism. To start with, the quality and the quantity of Longya lilium produced in this district are falling down due to the seed degeneration. In addition, the local government fails to offer enough support to deal with seed detoxification. Furthermore, the industrial chain is incomplete, lack of deep processing brings no higher grade products and thus no specialized market. Finally, the planters are at a great risk of high cost but low profit because of their insufficient planting knowledge and experience. The experimental study focused on bulb induction and detoxification culture in vitro gives some progressive suggestions. Firstly, it is somewhat easy to induce little bulbs from the scale of Longya lilium. Secondly, the inducing efficiency is closely related to the scale's maturity (late period) and the inducing part (middle or below), and the culture 6-BA is 1.5-2.0 mg/L. Thirdly, a culture system is established. Young plants are formed from purified little bulbs with a series of processes. Lastly, the young plants are transplanted, then the detoxification can be appraised. |
