This research chose Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. from Henan Fangcheng as material studied detailedly on root structure growth and effective ingredients accumulation dynamic and correlational factors through field experiment and lab analyse, which were planted in original area and farm of Henan agricultural university.And also studied the variance-types on plant morphological, characters and active components.The main results were as following:1. There are two nutritional growth periods in one year for Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge..During the first nutritional growth period after Danshen were transplanted into fields,Seedlings grew dominantly,The rapid growth stage on root system lagged behind seedlings obviously.During the second nutritional growth period,root grew dominantly.After blossom,Danshen entered reproduction growth stage,and the weight of seedlings increased little while root grew slowly.After seeds ripened,Danshen entered the second nutritional growth stage.2. The structure of salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. root was in common with the root of dicotyledon.The effective ingredients of overall tanshinone and tanshinonIIA and salvianolic acid B of xylem of Salvia miltiorrhiza bge. root were less than that contained in bark effective ingredients content.There is obvious negative relation of ratio between xylem and bark and effective ingredients.3. Effective ingredients of Danshen root in procreation growth stage is more than that of nutritional growth period. The effective ingredients of overall tanshinone and tanshinonIIA and salvianolic acid B showed low-high-low trend during the whole developing period.They all reached tiptop in the middle days of July.4. The effective ingredients of overall tanshinone and tanshinonIIA and salvianolic acid B of Danshen root present dynamic changing in different planting density.There is a striking dissimilarity between gross of effective ingredients in different planting density.The gross of effective ingredients reached the best when the planting density was 35cm×l6cm.5. Controlling procreation growth (excising flower bud) can distinctly reduce ratio between xylem and bark,improving effective ingredients of overall tanshinone and tanshinonIIA and salvianolic acid B,and increasing the root output. The content of overall tanshinone increased to 28.12%,the content of tanshinonⅡA increased to 15.49%,the content of salvianolic acid B increased to 9.78%,the output of individual fresh root increased to 22.82%,the ratio of between dry and fresh heavy of Danshen root increased to 34.12%.The gross of effective ingredients of tanshinonⅡA and salvianolic acid B of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. root increased to 30.05%and 26.94%.Consequently, excising flower bud could improve output and quality of salvia miltiorrhiza Bge..Therefore,we should advocate excising flower bud for improving output and quality of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. root.6. There is a striking dissimilarity between character in five selective variance-types of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge..The effective ingredients of tanshinonⅡA and salvianolic acid B of Salvia miltiorrhiza Bge. root were more than that contained criterion of codex.They can be field varieties.
