Optimizement Planting Research Of Polygonatum Sibiricum Red. In Field

Rhizoma polygonati ,the rhizome of the plants of the genus polygonatum in the lily family,have always been used as medicine in China. The rhizome of three species of genus Polygonatum are qualified in China Pharmacopeia 2005 as good medicine: Polygonatum sibiricum Red., Polygonatum kingianum Coll. et Hemsl., and Polygonatum cyrtonema Hua. To construct the P.sibiricum production quality control standard of Shaanxi province,an optimizement research of GAP management of P.sibiricum Red. Field in Lueyang county Shaanxi Province was carried out, from August, 2004 to May,2006 with GAP principle instruction.Results showed that:1 Compared to the spring, P.sibiricum Red planting in autumn sprouting early, the leaf launches early, new rhizome inflates quickly, sprouting rate is high, the total polysaccharide content is also higher in the last stage.The best time of sowing P.sibiricum Red is mid-November. The winter mulching plastic cover may make the P.sibiricum Red. sprout ahead of time about 10 days, but later the emergence rate of seedlings ,compering with no mulching plastic cover,is low about 30%. The P.sibiricum Red. sprout time of planting 2-year-old rhizome is very inconsistent, during Mar. the 21st to Feb. the 29th to come out. the later they come out ,the more quickly leaf launches.2. The contents of polysaccharide in and the output of the P. sibiricum Red.in the apple woods is both the highest than any other treatment. P. sibiricum Red planted with corn is better than that planted under the capping visor net on bare land.The P. sibiricum Red on bare ground is the worst among the four treatment. It's better that the P. sibiricum Red plant with apple trees or corn. Compared with open-air cultivation, 70% visor net provide shade may enhance transpiration the water use efficiency(WUE) 19.5%. The P. sibiricum Red.leaf blade's photosynthesis speed assumes the single peak curve along with the leaves nodes change, the speed of 11th turns of leaf blades photosynthesize is the highest.
