The Baby Cabbage is regarded as the quality goods in all of the vegetables. It hasexquisite appearance, fresh lustre, sweet taste, high nutritional value and medicinal value,containing rich protein, vitamins, cellulose and trace elements. It showes low heat,digestible, promoting the metabolism of the food. The Baby Cabbage has vast marketprospects and high demand. High-quality varieties of Baby Cabbage are imported fromforeign countries. Its major production area is in Yunnan Province. Its cultivationtechnology is not mature in the actual production and product quality is intermingled.Through the methods of simulating experiments and plant sample analysis, the basicgrowing conditions of hydroponics for Baby Cabbage were studied. The results showed asfollows:①Different treatments of nutrient solutions had significant effects on the growth anddevelopment of Baby Cabbage. According to the indexes of different nutrient solutions onthe growth and development of Baby Cabbage, Treatment12(1/1s of formulaⅣ) isselected as suitable nutrient solution for growth of Baby Cabbage.1/1s of formulaⅣ:Ca(NO32·4H2O1.18g/L,KNO30.51g/L,MgSO4·7H2O0.37g/L,NaH2PO40.16g/L.②The experiment of different N, P, K concentration in hydroponics indicated that invegetative growing period, the disposal3(N0.25g/L+P0.02g/L+K0.15g/L) significantlypromoted the plant growth.This research mainly studied the selection of nutrient solution and optimization of N、P、K nutrient concentration ratio of soilless culture technology. The results provide usefultechnologies for industrialization of soilless cultivation of Baby Cabbage.
