Valuing all the forest products has become an important task of forestry sustainable development.Hainan province is China's southernmost tropical island, located in the Southeast Asian economic development circles. It is has great advantages on developing eucalyptus plantations by its exceptional natural and economic advantage. As Hainan eucalyptus is not only a industry but also bears a multifunctional forest and efficiency and the protection of the ecological environment, coordination and promotion of the economic and social development important role. Therefore, the study on the economic value of ecosystem services and sustainable development is not only the need of Hainan own, but a key component to turn Hainan into an ecological province.To Value the ecological service includes two parts: one is based on ecology, and focusing on the quantization of the biological production by technical perspective; the other one is based on economics, focusing on the way to turn the biological production into the monetary magnitude. The discussion of this paper mainly referring to the latter. This article is based on the summarization of the content of ecosystem services and the progress of the study, to value the quality and magnitude of value of Eucalyptus plantation ecological service in Hainan about timber production and soil conservation, water conservation, fixing CO2, the releasing of O2, the cycling of nutrients and so on. Make people to understand the importance of tremendous ecological value and the service that ecosystems provide for human, to provide scientific foundation for the construction and sustainable development of Eucalyptus plantation ecosystem in Hainan province.The result shows that: The whole ecosystem service value of Eucalyptus plantation in Hainan is worth 26.56×108Yuan/a. The annual average value of wood's by-products is worth 10.18×108Yuan/a, make up38.33%. The value of water supply and water regulation is worth 2.30×108Yuan, make up 8.66%.The value of carbon sequestration is worth 5.84×108 Yuan, make up21.99%. The value of releasing oxygen is worth 7.78×108Yuan, make up 29.29% .The value of soil stabilization and erosion control to reduce the sediment is worth 0.00096×108Yuan, and the value of cycling is worth 0.3445×108Yuan, make up 1.29%. Purification functional value of the environment is 0.118×108Yuan/a, make up0.43%. Provide 2.616 billion jobs a year in next five years. This will be conducive to accelerate the pace of economic development of Hainan Province.From the point of technology, the study show the state of existing forest sustainable management which integration is 0.7965 exert medium weak level ,and begin to enter the orbit of sustainable development step by step and forest resource amount continued increase in Hainan. But, the overall quality of forest low and the structure of forest ecosystem are not reasonable, and forest ecological usefulness maintain ability weak. So that, forest sustainable development do not realized completely. |
