With the development of agriculture and rural economies,agriculture machinery has become the key mean for improvingproductivity and increasing income for farmers. Small agriculturemachinery (SAM) is a kind of small machinery applied in the agriculture,which has; autonomous power without any other power devices andadapts to individual operation. It is an essential tool for mechanical tasksin agriculture, a key device for farming mechanization in green house.As an essential tool for farming mechanization, it has wide marketprospect. But now it has not been widely used yet all over the worldbecause of the high price. By analyzing the ingredients of product cost,we find out that the bottleneck of price for SAM lies on reducer.So the reducer of SAM is researched in this thesis. MC productionmode is introduced to the production of SAM. On the basis of modulardesign research, reconfigurable modular design method for SAM isstudied, F-B-S model is funded, a common case for 4 differentreconfigurable reducers is designed. Modular division technology basedon restriction relationship between interfaces and sort coding system arediscussed, and reducer is taken for an example. Finally, Taking the popular three-dimensional CAD software—SolidWorks as exploitiveplatform, a prototype system of reconfigurable modular design for SAMis studied, and a Standard parts library is established in order to improvedesign efficiency.
