Pleuratus ferulae singly parasitize or saprophyte on ferulae rhizome, this indicates that ferulae must influence the growth and development of Pleuratus ferulae mycelium.This project had studied on the effort of substance component that Pleuratus ferulae contains on the growth and volatile content. By observing the indexes of physiology, biochemist and nutrient component in the mycelium growing and development process, we found that there were correlations between component of ferulae and Pleuratus ferulae's growth and quality.(1) Ferulae has conspicious effects on growth of the Pleuratus ferulae. At the 9%-11% ferulae content, mycelium grew fast, and it was white and dense, everage growth rate of mycelium was 0.417cm/d, by contrast, everage growth rate of Ck was 0.375 cm/d.(2) The adding amount of the asafoetida powder obviously influences the time of budding and the final budding bag. 9%treatment's duding time was 125d, 12d earlier than CK; final budding bag of treatment 9% and 11%were 50 bags and 54 bags respectively, and CK was only 11 bags;(3) The ferulae content influenced concentrative budding time and concentrative budding bags. 128-131d after cultured ,11% treatment had 15 bags concentrative budding. By contrast, just 5 bags concentrative budding of CK, 137-140 days after it was cultivated.(4) To some extent, polluting rate of fungus is reduced with the increase of the ferulae content, was only 10% in polluting rate of 11% treat, and the pollution rate of CK is 53%; Mushroom emergence rate rose with increase of the asafoetida content, 100% mushroom emergence rate in 9% and CK was just 39%;.(5) Lower than 9% treatment ,mushroom maggot and mushroom fly existed 3-5d after it riped. ferulae powder content higher than 9% had not such phenomena.(6) The ferulae powder content influenced on output of asafoetida, adding different quantity of ferulae powder to culture medium, the total output (dry weight) of pleuratus ferulae and bag output of average form are higher than CK.(7)Crude polysaccharide content of 9%-11% treatment was 27.51g/100g, crude polysaccharide content of wilding Pleuratus ferulae was 30.64g/100g,and that content was just 22.33g/100g in the CK. Crude protein content of 9%-11% treatment was 44.80 g/100g, and 40.11g/100g in CK.Utilizing GC-MS to measure volatile composition of ferulae , cultured pleuratus ferulae, wild asafoetida, mass spectrogram analysis indicated:(1) The volatile composition of ferulae and pleuratus ferulae is mainly terpene, sterols and polysulfide in asafoetida and asafoetida mushroom;(2) Guaiol content is higher in 50 percent treatment of cultivated pleuratus ferulae, wild pleuratus ferulae and Gobi ferulae;(3) Dithio-alkyl and three sulphur alkyl was detected in Gobi ferulae and 50 percent treatment of cultivated pleuratus ferulae, but didn't existed in the wild pleuratus ferulae.
