Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi is a kind of rare and advanced fungi having a prospects of development. Study on the Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi cultivation has been performed more widely than crossbreeding, it is important to attain Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi strains with properties of good quality, high-yield and vigorous adaptability. In this experiment, 10 Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi were used as testing material. Monokaryotic mycelium was attainted Ultraviolet radiation induced, then new varities which were attained by recombination of genetic material and generalization of desirable characteristics .The mycelium growth, the agronomic characteristics of fruitbodies, early maturity charactertics and the yield of 10 Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi strains were compared. The results showed that the mycelium growth of Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 6, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 9 and Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 3 grew faster than the others at 25 ℃;the economic properites of Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 3, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 9, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 7, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 6, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 10;the higher yied of these strains were Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 3, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 6. Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 10;the premature cultivated variety was Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 3, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 4, Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi 10.Esterase isozyme of 10 mycelia Pleurotus ferulae Lenzi strains were studies by orthogonal slab polyacrylanide gel electrophoresis, the genetic variance and genetic relationship of strains were studied with esterase isozyme techniques. The results showed that these were plentiful expression on isozyme band at 0.160 of Rf value. But there was some different in the numbers of isozyme bands, positions and enzyme activity, individual strains had its peculiar bands. The similarity coefficient of these strains ranged from 0.200 to 1.000. These were various degrees of genetic diversity, however in terms of all the strains tested the degree of genetic variability as a whole was not so plentiful.58 cross combination were obtained through Ultraviolet radiation induced. When mutually complementary enzyme bands and new enzyme bands of the new cross combinations appeared 26 crossbreeding filial generation by comparison of enzyme bands between parent strains and cross combinations, the heterosis of the crossbreeding filial generation was stronger and high quality strains could be selected easily.
