Hericium erinaceus is a kind of precious medicinal and edible mushroom, On the external environment sensitive,such as temperature,humidity, ventilation, light,etc. It is very prone to deformity: coral type, bare without thorns type, abnormal color. Serious impact on the economic value of goods, resulting in huge economic losses. At present, it has been widely carried out of cultivation and Hericium erinaceus active ingredient research, but fewer breeding research. Mutation breeding is the human factor mandatory use of certain physical and chemical genetic mutations mushroom method. Ultraviolet irradiation the mycelium, which has advantages of low-cost, simple operation, easy to prevent harm to the human body, significant effect. In this experiment, on the Hericium erinaceus mycelial different time ultraviolet irradiation treatment,the original strain and seven mutant strains were used as testing material, A series of selecting experiment were explemented in order to attain suitable for cultivation in north China of the new excellent Hericium erinaceus strain.1. In this experiment, with ultraviolet irradiation mycelial of Hericium erinaceus small thorn, set up 10 different time, the mutated strains changing significantly were selected.2. Antagonism through testing and vertical plate discontinuous polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis method, on the tested strains were identified by seven mutant strains.3. The experiment strains are compared about the mycelium growth and different growth cycle. H-3, H-4, H-6, H-7 strains are excellent mutant strains considering from the mycelium growth. The experiment result show that the significant positive correlation between average growth rate of mother cultures and average growth rate of culture. The experiment result also show that some positive correlation between average growth rate of culture and biological efficient, but correlation is not significant. H-2, H-3, H-5 and H-7 four strains were early-mature strains because of early of the peak fruiting period. The experiment result show that significant negative correlation between the peak fruiting period and biological efficiency.4. The experiment strains were selected by high temperature tolerance primary selected, high temperature tolerance repeat selected and comparison of fruit-yeild under different temperatures.The result show that H-1, H-6 and H-7 three strains are high temperature tolerance.5. The experiment strains are compared about the resistance of Trichoderma Virile, economic characteristics of fruiting bodies, Nutritional and medicinal ingredients. At last conformed that H-1, H-6 and H-7 three strains were the resistance of Trichoderma Virile, the ability of resistance of Trichoderma Virile of H-6 was strong. H-5,H-6 and H-7 strains was better which was economic characteristics of fruiting bodies. H-6 and H-7 strains had higher nutritional value. H-5 strain of high medicinal value.6. The result show that fruitbody yields of H-3,H-5,H-6,H-7 four strains are higher than the original strain, after comparising of fruit body yields of the experiment strains. H-5 strain of the fruiting body the highest yield, its biological efficiency than the original strain 8.45% higher. It is proved that the advantage of these Hericium erinaceus mutant strains in fruit body yield factor is strong.
