The experiment studies on virus-free seed potato miniaturization breeding system and matching commercial potato cultivation techniques . To face the problems of virus-free potato seed production and utilization, the article specially researches on two aspects which are the key techniques of controlling seed size and effects of seed size on commercial potato production during virus-free potato seed miniaturization production. On the basis of the existing research and potato seed propagating way in double cropping region, through the study of miniaturization original seed production fitted density under artificial isolated condition in middle and south of Hebei area and virus-free potato seed production density under natural condition, potato seed miniaturization propagating system has been established, yield-increasing effects of whole potato sowing and mini whole seed potato extension have been verified, the main results are as follows:1. Single tuber quantity under different density cultivation condition does not have significantly difference. There are max-tuber quantity in plot, when plant spacing and margin is 7㎝×7㎝ and average tuber weight is 11.1g;there are max-production in plot, when plant spacing is 15cm×15cm and average tuber weight is 21.9g.While using mini-tubers propagate virus-free potato seed in middle and south of Hebei area, the fitted cultivation density of planting spacing is 7㎝×7㎝,which can obtain more tuber quantity; The fitted propagation cultivation density of planting spacing is15cm×15cm, which can get high tuber production.2. For miniaturization virus-free seed potato propagation in middle and south of Hebei area, the ways of early snowing in spring,early harvested,seed reservation under cold bed,timely get rid of plant, sowing and harvested in autumn should be taken late. It should avoid the peak of aphid transferring and prevention of virus infection. It can establish miniaturization virus-free seed potato propagation system by snowing density adjustment for potato seed size, which is based on mini-tuber industrialized production. Virus-free original seed production under artificial anti-insect net chamber, first-degree seed production under natural isolated condition and second- degree seed production under chemical control,which can control potato seed size. 3. Production of seed potato weight has significantly difference. Average height of mini-seed potato andproduction are max as the seed potato weight is 20-25g; the production of whole sowing is higher than cut one, which is 1.2%-26.7%. For commercial potato production in middle and south of Heibei area, 20-25g mini whole potatoes as seed obtain higher yield.4. The key management of using mini-seed potato to produce commercial potato is sowing big bud; cultivation is same as local traditional way.
