In order to improve the adaptability of sugarcane detrasher to lodged sugarcane, and advance its combined detrashing performance, using straight and bending sugarcane as subject investigated, basing on the sugarcane detrashing test stand, an indoor simulative experiment of sugarcane detrashing was carried out on the affecting factors(cross depth of elements,rotational speed of detrasing roller,distance of run-in roller,rotational speed of deliver roller) which affect the detrashing quality by means of the quadratic general rotary unitized design, statistical analysis and computer simulation,optimization technique. And the corresponding mathematical model of regression was established. The main affecting factors on the test quota (the impurity rate and rupture rate) was found out. The influence law and mechanism of the main factors and their interaction on the test quota was analyzed. The optimization study was done on the experimental factors and the comprehensive combination of parameter was gained.The study indicates: under the same condition, the acting force of cleaning element on straight sugarcane is more large than bending sugarcane; the translational speed and rotational speed of straight sugarcane is bigger than bending sugarcane's; The stress of straight sugarcane is balance at vertical direction but the bending sugarcane's is not. The blowing,stripping and frictional action of straight sugarcane is smaller than the bending sugarcane's . The rupture rate of straight sugarcane is fewer than the bending sugarcane's brook-in by cleaning elements or seized off because of playing all around. So the impurity of straight sugarcane is more large than the bending sugarcane's, while the rupture rate of straight sugarcane is smaller than the bending sugarcane's. Under the comprehensive combination of parameter: cross depth of elements is 8(mm), rotational speed of detrasing roller is 601(r/min), distance of run-in roller is 288(mm), rotational speed of deliver roller is 250(r/min), the result of indoor proof test of detrashing gained: the impurity rate and rupture rate of straight sugarcane is 0.64% and 0%, the impurity rate and rupture rate of bending sugarcane is 0.41% and 16.67%. The adaptability of sugarcane detrasher to lodged sugarcane may improve effectively, and its combined detrashing quality advances after improvement. Therefore, the result of optimization may be used as reference for designing of sugarcane detrasher.
