China is one of the major countries in the world for cotton production,but the mechanization productivity of cotton,especially the mechanization-harvest rate,has been at a low level.The existing cotton pickers are mainly distributed in the Xinjiang cotton area,and most of them are imported cotton pickers.The market share of domestic cotton pickers is low,and the quality still has a gap with imported cotton pickers.Aiming at the demand of small and medium-sized farmers for the cotton picker,the development of a light and simple cotton stripper with simple structure,easy maintenance and reasonable price is beneficial to improve the mechanization-harvest rate of cotton.The brush-rolling cotton stripper has the advantages of simple structure and easy operation.In order to be widely used,it is necessary to optimize its structural parameters and working parameters to meet the requirements of relevant standards.Main contents and conclusions:(1)According to the picking technology,the cotton harvesters are classified and the working principles of each type are introduced.The common brands and products of cotton pickers at home and abroad are summarized.The cultivation mode of machine-picked cotton in the cotton area of the Yellow River Basin is investigated.The basic physical characteristics of seed cotton are determined according to the cotton varieties planted locally.(2)Using CREO,ADAMS and other software,the three-dimensional modeling of key parts and structures was carried out.The dynamics analysis of the cleaning roller was carried out,and the movement of the cleaning roller at different speeds was simulated.(3)The orthogonal test was used to select the structure of the cleaning system.It was determined that when the primary cleaning roller has a diameter of 420 mm,the rack distance is 38 mm,and the distance between the rack and the cleaning roller is 10 mm,the "one clear" impurity rate and the "one clear" loss are the best.When the diameter of the cleaning roller in the "two-return" part is 420 mm,the rack distance is 38 mm,and the distance between the rack and the cleaning roller is 20 mm,the total impurity rate and total loss rate of the whole cleaning system are optimal results.The results of the model selection are verified by experiments to meet the requirements of actual production.(4)Single-factor experiments were carried out on the working parameters to determine the significant influencing factors and scope;regression tests were used to analyze the influence of the speed of brush roller,the speed of first-level cleaning roller and the moving speed on impurity rate and loss rate,and the mathematical model and optimization results were obtained.The optimization results is that when the rotating speed of brush roller is 300 r/min,the rotating speed of first-level cleaning roller is 280 r/min,and the moving speed is 0.78 m/s,the impurity rate is 9.11 % and the loss rate is 6.99 %.The correctness of the optimization results is verified by experiments.
