Research Of Some Reproduction Traits And Lamb Growth Of Hu Sheep

Hu sheep is one of famous multiple birth in the world.The sheep have character of early sexal-maturity,multiple birth,high fertility,estrus at four seasons,heat and humidity toleramce and extensive feeding,fitting confinement feeding and so on.The date of Hu sheep lambing number and lamb's developmental performance at Suzhou Breeding Sheep Farm during 2004-2007 years were recorded and analyzed to study the relationship between breeding sheep reproduction and lamb's developmental performance in this study.The purpose of this study was providing science reference for breeding work and lamb's growth and development under scale feeding,and established molecule biology base for further study the character expression of Hu sheep.1,Relationship between different parity and lambing number of per party of Hu SheepRecords of 517 lambs from 241 daughters of 20 rams in Hu Sheep during 2004-2006 years at Suzhou Breeding Sheep farm were selected,and established regression relation to analyze lambing number of 1-6 parties of ewes in Hu sheep.Results showed that the proportion of 1-5 lambing number of per party were 25.72%,42.32%,22.40%,7.88%and 1.65%,respectively.There was no significant relationship between lambing number of different parities of Hu sheep(P＜0.05).The relationship between lambing number of per parity and parity was:y=0.0069x~3-0.095x~2+0.4737x+1.3533,and multiple index was R~2=0.9995.2,Study on growth and development character of different month-age Hu sheep lambs.The date of body length,body beight and chest measurement of 133 lambs borth during 6-12 month in 2006 were collected from Suzhou Breeding Sheep Farm and established,database excel.According to different birth types,the date of newborn,2 age, 4age in mouths and 6age in mouths were analyzed with spss 10.0 statistics softwere.Results showed that the proportion of 1-4 lambing number was 12.78%,40.60%,31.58%and 15.04%,respectively.As to the single lamb cumulative growth,lamb's body size trait was significantly greater than other types of lamb with the increase in age and there was significant different(P＜0.05) or obviously significant different(P＜0.01).There was downward trend with the age in month inorease,from absolutive and relative growth and no significant different between single lamb traits and other type lamb performance.During various born types body length,body height and chest measurement,relative and absolute in growth of male and female lamb,were decreasing trends with the age in month increase and cumulative growth decreasing with the litter size increasing.3.Influence of season factor on Hu sheep lamb's growth and development356 Hu sheep lamb's body weight,body length,body height and the chest measurement at birth,two age in months,fourge in months and six age in monthse during 2004-2007years at Suzhou Breeding Sheep farm was reserched.The year was divided into four different stages,ie.Winter(last Dec.～Feb.),Spring(Mar.～May.),Summer(Jun.～Aug.),Autumn (Sep.～Nov.).The date of different stages of the birth lamb's cumulative,absolutive and relative growth were calculated.The results indicated that the most rapid growth phase of lamb was in Winter.
