| Shanghai is located at north latitude 14°31′and east longitudel21°29′,lying in the west bank of Pacific Ocean,east line of Asia continent,and the core region of the Changjiang Delta.The land area of the whole city is 6340.5 km~2,accounting for 0.06%of the nation.It belongs to the northern subtropical monsoon climate,with four sharp distinct seasons. It has abundant sunshine with plentiful rainfall.The temperature of Shanghai is temperate and climate is moist with short spring and autumn,and long summer and winter.The territory of Shanghai is broad flat plain with the average height above 4 meters,except the western range where a few hills are distributed.Shanghai is one of the earliest areas where strawberry(Fragaria ananassa Duch) is cultivated in our country.In recent years,the national structure adjustment of planting industry has promoted the strawberry production,and the area has been expanded to more than 3333.333 hectares.Among them the facility cultivation areas accounts for 1/3,and the development tendency is still significant.Thus,the the output,the quality and the economic benefit of the strawberry production are increasing.On the other hand,the Shanghai Municipal Agricultural Committee aided several sci-tech projects including "The technological development of high-quality propagation system of strawberry" and "Integration and demostration of the key techniques to produce high-quality and safe strawberry in ten thousand mu to achieve a hundred million yuan output".This work is carried out to investigate and analyze the problems in strawberry propagation,combining the requirement of safe and high quality production of present agricultural products,to make the technological measurements of the high-quality strawberry propagation industry.It can been divided into three parts.1.Variety comparative experiments showed that some new varieties,such as 'Xintong 1', 'Akihime' and 'Siuko',were suitable for facility culture in Shanghai district,especially 'Xintong 1'.Its comprehensive economic property of the berries is good,with beautiful appearance and big fruits.The high rigidity of fruits is suitable for long distance transportation and Tong preservation.They contains high sugars and dense flavor.It is highly productive and resistant to powdery mildew.All of the excellent properties of the varieties show that they should be developed in the futrue.2.The tissue culture and virus elimination technology are important in strawberry propagation.Experiments have been carried out to detect strawberry vein banding virus (SVBV) in tube plantlets and field suckers by PCR method with specific primers.The comprehensive tenchonology of high-quality propagation systems of strawberry includes soil improvement,high-latitude or high-altitude propagation of strawberry and disease and pest control.In order to improve soil properties,serveal measurements including disinfection by solar energy,de-salinity by irrigation,rotation cultivations by hydrophytes and xerophils,and planting green fertilizers have been suggested in the work.Among them,disinfection by solar energy is high effective,easy manipulative,low cost,and envirnmental friendly.3.Two regulations were proposed in the paper,including the management technology of no harmful strawberry propagation system and organic substrate propagation of strawberry. |
