To study certain landscape patterns provides an effective method for understanding the status of landscape ecology and its spatial variability.That will help serving regional sustainable development by revising human-self's actions optimizing resource allocation,improving the ecological environment.Oasis marginal decline of the natural vegetation and land desertification have a direct relationship with groundwater level.Oasis within the continuous expansion of cultivated areas,the growing consumption of water,underground water level continued to drop to Oasis, formed a large area of the underground funnel,this oasis of stability for extremely detrimental to the ecological safety of Oasis a serious threat.Based on land-used map(1:150,000) in 1995,Divide agricultural region what needed to study into 3 districts:Nanbu district;Changning district;Hongyashan district.And then divide the patch type,after that build a data base with MapGIS6.5, then calculate pattern indices.The conclusion as the follows:(1) In Nanbu district,Forest land is matrix,the area of three controlling patch types is small,talent resisting and defending an environment encroaching on a force, the landscape that minor area saline and alkaline land and sands,stabilize appears moreover already the pattern is easy to be destroyed.In Changning district,Saline and alkaline land is matrix,the ecological environment already worsens.In Hongyashan district,Cultivated land is matrix,the effect of artificial factors embodied strongly within this district.(2) Main ecological conservation measures in Min Qin County are the follows: adjust agriculture structure,and cut down area of field for grain;import grain form the oasis outside.Cut down the dependence on the grain form locality,build protection forest,develop water-efficient agriculture.
