Research And Development Of Forest Resource Management Information System Based On Platform MAPGIS

Forestry is characterized by vast field, long cycle of production, complicated forest system, forest resource close to earth's surface and so on,and management's decision-making is relevant to forest's space location. Besides, to carry out forestry decisions and administration by adopting the traditional method are lack of perception and visualization in the process of decision- making, which brings a lot of difficulty to the operation and management. the significance of This paper is the use of MAPGIS software and secondary development interface, which managed information and data management of forest area, volume, type, forest types, canopy density, soil type, species structure, distribution and other forest resources, in order to make up for the traditional method. the traditional method can only make decision from the form and the text of the forest resources file and rich the technical means of the changes and distribution of spatial data.The paper takes the forest (forest land) of Man Han Mountain Forest Farm as study object. According to the requirements of Main Technology Regulation of Forest Reserves'Planning, Designing and Investigation , the research data from the sub-compartment under the present condition of forest resource in Man Han Mountain Forest Farm gets the aid of the VB computer programming language, and the MAPGIS SDK6.7 software development package, aiming at the secondary development on the MAPGIS, the realization of the space, the integration of non-spatial data management and analysis,so the effective and scientific management for forest resource can be achieved, which encourages the reasonable usage and protecting development towards the forest resource. The conclusions of this paper are as follows:(1) With the assistance of GIS space data management and analyzing function, which can carry on the space data bank administration, the renewal, the maintenance, the search and inquiry by using and organizing the effective data, the management of forest resources from the original paper-based forest resource survey maps and tabular data management for geo-spatial vector and database management has been changed. (2) The query and synchronous display a given factor in the single-factor conditions and multi-factor combinations conditions have been realized, at the same time, statisticed the data information of coincident condition related speck.(3) The system of space-based data management and query based on platform MAPGIS has been realized.
