Research On Cultivation Techniques For High Quality Silage Maize "Zhongyu15" In Zhangjiakou Region

Maize is an important food, feed and economic crop, and sown areas and yields reached 22% and 25 % of total food crops. At present, more than 70% maize was used for silage crops in China. With development of society economy and living standards of the people have been improved, the proportion of the silage maize will further be increased. So research on cultivation techniques for high quality silage maize in Zhangjikou region has become more and more important. In this study maize"Zhongyu15"was used for experiment materials. Field trail and variety analysis were used for research methods. Also plot trail mainly was completed in farm of Hebei North University and Taishiwan village of Xuanhua county of Zhangjiakou. Furthermore, extension research was carried out in four villages of Yangyuan county of Zhangjiakou. The results and conclusions are as follows:(1) Density of maize"Zhongyu 15"should be controlled in the planting of 54000/hm2 in Zhangjiakou. With the delay of sowing time, growing period of maize"Zhongyu 15"will be shorten. May 3 is the best sowing time of maize"Zhongyu 15"in Zhangjiakou, when ear height, ear length, ear diameter, the number of grain and grain weight keep best. Therefore, the highest yield of maize"Zhongyu 15"could be got.(2) The research about growth state in different growth stages showed ground biomass of maize"Zhongyu 15"had significant difference with N and without. But there were no difference in all N control. Research on cumulative amount of N in different growth stages and different fertilizer application ways also showed that the trumpet stage was the best fertilizer application stage when topdressing could increase yield of maize. Cooperation of organic manure and chemical fertilizer not only could increase output of maize"Zhongyu 15", but also could improve the quality of corn by curve of yield and N application rate for maize"Zhongyu 15". When N application rate was 151 kg/hm2, yield of maize in the local region was highest. As the increase of nitrogen application rate, partial factor productivity of applied N (PFPN), agronomic efficiency of applied N (AEN) and apparent recovery efficiency of applied N (REN) for maize"Zhongyu 15"showed decreasing trend, therefore, optimizing the amount of nitrogen fertilizer was necessary for improving nitrogen efficiency.(3) Comparing with traditional cultivation techniques and traditional maize variety, optimizing methods could increase 18.8% of yield, 17.61% of nitrogen efficiency 3709 yuan/hm2 per farmer in high-yield and reduce 36 kg/hm2 of fertilizer N. Therefore, High-efficiency and high-yield cultivation had huge application prospects for maize"Zhongyu 15".
