Land resources on which human survival and sustainable development of the material is the basis of human social and economic activities in all of the basic space . Research on global environmental change as one of the core areas, land use / land cover change (Land Use and Land Cover Change, LUCC) through changes in ecosystem structure and function of the ecosystem to maintain its service functions play a decisive role. To put it simply, LUCC study two questions: First, to reveal the land use / cover change and human driving force driving force mechanism; Second, dynamic simulation and prediction of land use / cover change. At the same time, LUCC-driven changes in the ESV, LUCC is also an important environmental effect of quantitative indicators.This paper studies the study area selected for the county, according to the study area of the land-use cover change study conclusions of the introduction of the value of ecosystem services (Ecosystem Services Value, ESV) of the evaluation model can be adopted to estimate the economic value of more objectively quantified region value of ecosystem services, and as the pilot area for the agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, and fisheries ecology of the extremely high correlation to provide the guiding role of industrial development.In this paper, remote sensing, geographic information systems technology and the corresponding mathematical model, with the support of the Three Gorges reservoir area for the years 1995,2004 County TM remote sensing images of land use cover types of analysis, statistics of different types of land use distribution, size, and different types of land use between the transformation of the year combined with the socio-economic development-related data, the dynamic degree of land-use types in different periods of land use / land cover changes in the calculation, comparison and analysis; based on the value of ecosystem services (Ecosystem Services Value, ESV) evaluation model, the different types of land-use evaluation and analysis. Based on the data of land use changes from 1990 to 2004, we analyzed the land use change during the 15 years. At the same time we calculated the change of ecosystem service value (ESV) caused by the land use change. The following conclusions were obtained. Cultivated land and unused land had extremely decreased, forest land, grassland, water area and Building zone had increased rapidly; The total value of ecosystem services of the study area increased from¥290.018×107 in 1990 to¥355.497×107 in 2004,with the net increase of¥65.479×107 during the 15-year time period. The conclusion shows that economic development, migration, and environmental policy is the essential factor.
