In 1917, Notch signal pathway was first founded in drosophila growth study by Morgan etc. In 1985, Grimwade etc. cloned the Notch gene. It has been found that Notch is expressed in a variety of species, and it is highly conserved. In order to screen the function genes which are related hair growth in Cashmere goat, and use the molecular signaling pathways controlling development and growth of hair follicle to improve the productivity of wool producing animals, this research mainly studied from the following aspects:1. Analyzing the structural characteristics of Notch1,DLL1 and Hairless gene composing the Notch signal pathway, detected the expression of the three genes in Cashmere goat skin and tissue during 12 months using RT-PCR.2. Summarized the relationship between Notch1 receptor and DLL1 ligand in Notch signal pathway.3.Made burying Melatonin groups and control groups, and analyzing the three gene expression after burying Melatonin to obtain the influence of burying Melatonin on gene expression.
