This study was designed to add 4 different dietary doses of botanical activity flour of garlic bacterium substance,( GBS), for Yangzhou goose feeding trial, researching the effects on growth performance, slaughter parameters, metabolism of endogenous hormone, serum index ,mmune performance and cecal contents in vitro bacterial. It is a theoretical foundation and applied reference for investing and developing functional feed additive.240 one-day-old Yangzhou goose were allocated to five groups,including control group and trial group 1,2,3,4. The control group was fed with basical diets,each trial group was fed with basical diets added with 0.25,0.50,1.00,2.00 g/Kg GBS, respectively. This study was researching the effects of different dietary doses on growth metabolism of Yangzhou geese, which the test lasted 60 days.Results showed that: (1) Survival rate: no significant difference in each group.(2) Performance: compared with control group, the body weight gain of 1-30-day-old trial group 2,3,4 increased by 11.57% (P<0.05),12.40%(P<0.01),14.05% (P<0.01);the feed intake in trial group 4 increased by 8.71% (P<0.05); the feed conversion ratio in trial group 1,2,3 decreased by 5.05% (P<0.05),7.80%(P<0.01), 6.88% (P<0.01);he body weight gain of 31-60-day-old trial group 3,4 increased by 14.00%(P<0.01),11.10% (P<0.01);the feed intake in trial group 4 increased by 8.83% (P<0.01);the feed conversion ratio in trial group 3 decreased by 12.03% (P<0.05);the body weight gain of 1-60-day-old trial group increased by 5.91% (P<0.05), 8.18% (P<0.01), 13.64%(P<0.01),13.64%(P<0.01); the feed intake in trial group 4 increased by 8.79% (P<0.01); the feed conversion ratio in trial group 2,3 decreased by 7.55%(P<0.05), 9.37%(P<0.01).(3) Slaughter parameters on 60 days: Compared with control group, dressing percentage in trial group2,4 increased by 0.70% (P<0.05),1.36%(P<0.01);percentage of half eviscerated yield in trial group 1 increased by 1.02%(P<0.05)and percentage of eviscerated yield in trial group 1 increased by increased by 1.06%(P<0.05)。(4) Serum hormone metabolism and serum glucose level : Compared with control group, Serum T3 in trial group3,4 increased by 11.76%(P<0.01),14.38%(P<0.01); serum T4 in each trial group increased by 7.75%(P<0.01),14.06%(P<0.01),14.30% (P<0.01), 66.52%(P<0.01); serum Glu. in trial group1,3,4 decreased by 14.78%(P<0.01), 14.45% (P<0.01),16.05%(P<0.01). After feeding in 3h the average level of serum glucose in trial group1,3,4 decreased by 7.96%(P<0.01),6.81%(P<0.01), 11.30% (P<0.01) ; the average level of Ins. in trial group2,3,4 decreased by 14.85%(P<0.01),12.54%(P<0.01),23.27% (P<0.01).(5) Serum total cholesterol: Compared with control group, trial group4 decreased by 9.43% (P<0.05).(6) Serum Ca,P: Compared with control group, serum P in trial group 4 increased by 15.98% (P<0.05).(7) Pectoral muscle nutrient content:Compared with control group, Crude protein of brisket in trial group 2,4 increased by 22.88%(P<0.05), 17.81%(P<0.05); Crude fat of brisket in each trial group decreased by 22.82%(P<0.05), 31.21%(P<0.05), 44.63%(P<0.05),33.22%(P<0.05).(8) Immune Function: Compared with control group, the index of thymus gland in trial group2,4 increased by 17.31% (P<0.01),30.03%(P<0.01).(9) Cecal flora:There is the same trend on trial group and control group and were not statistically significant difference. The results suggest that, no significant on the effect of GBS on cecal flora in vitro culture.
