Drumstick tree is the most common species cultivated throughout the tropical regions of the word, it has high nutritional and medicinal value, and it was fast growing and not very demanding as to climate and soil quality. In China, drumsick tree was artificial cultivated in Yunnan, Taiwan, Hainan, Guangxi and Guangdong province. Since it is cultivated for only few years in our country, a fertilization effect experiment with the second order regression current rotation design was carried out in Yuanmou county, Yunnan province, to investgate the correlation between drumstick tree and N, P, K.1. According to the soil matrix experiment, within the desigin of this experiment, significant differences is not exist in height, ground diameter, fresh leaf weight and fresh root weight in the level ofα=0.05 in all treatment. The permeability of the soil matrix has little influence with the growth of Moringa oleifera.2. The biomass and fresh leaf weight of drumstick tree can be significantly increased by N and P, but the promoting effect of P and K or N and K is much smaller than N and P.3. Proline and soluble sugar containing in the leaves of drumstick tree can be evidently increased by P and K, this may enhance the stress resistance ability of drumstick tee.4. Under the experimentation of second order regression current rotation design, the multinormail regression equation between the fertilizer weight and fresh biomass weight of Moringa oleifera seedings were fitted.It was Y1=31.98+54.15X1+48.69X2+84X3 -40.22X12-29.42X 22-3.45X32+23.75X1X2-29.91X1X3-40.45X2X3(x1, x2, x3 delegated the fertilizer weight of N, P, K ), the analysis of variance for regression equation showed that precision of the equation is enough, and this equation can be used to estimate the yields of seeding from the fertilizer quantity.5. The result of DRIS nutrient diagnosis of drumstick tree leaves under the condition of pot culture showed that: the best ratio scop of N, P, K concentration was gained by DRIS nutrient diagnosis and the range was N/P=8.0672~8.3296, K/P=3.7152~3.9278, N/K=2.1437~2.1731.6. According to the quadratic equation of N,P,K three variables, the highest biomass of 163.31g/pot will be reached when N-P-K was 1.1-1.1-1.0 g/pot (5.3kg medium per pot). Through the analysis of the main effect of fertilization, it showed that N, P, K had different significant effect on the biomass of Moringa oleifera, and the influence on the biomass were in such order as K>N>P. With the result of fertilizer response function and DRIS we can get the optimal N-P-K fertilization application rate was N-P-K=0.45-0.41-1.2 g/pot...
