The syndrome effeteness: the clinical recovery rateand very effective rate of treatment group were 77.8% and l l.l%respectively, and that of controI group were 5l.5% and l8.2%. 2.Thegastroscopic effeteness. treatffient group, the clinical recovefry ratewas 66.7o/o the very effective rate was l3.9%. While control groupwere 42.4% and l8.2%.3. There was significant difference betweenthe two groups on syndrome effeteness and gastroscopic effeteness,and it indicates that the effect of AULEQPB is better than that ofRenitidine in treating peptic ulcer 4.The Symptoms of PU such asstomached, tendemess in ePigastrium, anorexi4 eructation, avidregurgitation, nausea, vomiting of Iiquid, abdominaI distention,loose stool were greatly relieved or disaPpeared in tWo grOups. Theeliminating rate of stomachef, tendemess, acid regUrgitation andIoose stooI was higher in treatment group than that in controI(P<0.05). There was no significant difference of the eliminating rateof other symptoms between the two groups- It indicates that theeffeteness Gf eliminating the main symptoms of AULEQPB is aslsame as that of Renitidine. 5.There was no toxic action and no side effect in treatment group. There was one case of headache in control group, alleviated spontaneously.It proves the that the AULEQPB is a safe and effective herbal product in treating PU. It can enforce qi, and activate spleen, promote circulation of blood, alleviate stomacher and cure ulcer without toxic action to heart, liver and kidney and side effect. This method can be an auxiliary method in treatment of PU and expand the range of usage of endoscope.
