Study on ReIationship between Syndrome Differentiation ofTCM, BIood Stasis Syndrome, CD62p and CD25 inPIasma in EssentiaI HypertensionMajor: lntcrnaI mcdicine of TCMPostgraduatc: Xie Zhe XiaTutor: Chief physician Xing Xiu JiABSTRACTBackground: Abnormal activation of blood platelet anddisorder of humoral and cellular immunity are closely related withoccurrence and development of essential hypertension (EH).Objectivcs: TO research t11e n1echanism on disturbance ofblood platelet and disorder immunity in the occurrence anddevelopment of EH, and to study the relationship betWeen abnormalactivation of blood platelet and disorder of immunity with TCMsyndromes of EH,Which supplies Objective index for microcosmicsyndrome differentiation of TCM in EH.Materials and methods: 90 cases (male 56, female 34, meanage 59.08tl4.45 years) with EH were selected as research subjects.Syndrome differentiatiol1 of TCM is divided into tl1ree types,whicl1included effulgent liver fire type (23 cases), yin vacuity with yanghyPeractivity tyPe (39 cases), dual vacuity of yin and yang type (28cases). 30 cases of healthy peop1e (male 2l, fema1e 9, mean age54.72tll.55 years) were selected as normal control group. 1'heplasma levels of cluster of differentiation 62p (CD62p), cluster oftuffereniation 25 (Co25) were detem1ined witi1 now cYtometr}'. Evaluatinglthe patients whether have blood stasis or not according to Thble OnBSS in EH Quantitative Diagnosis.ResuIts: (l ) Both the level of CD62p and the level of CD25 inpatients with EH are significant1y increased (P<0.0l ) compared withcontrol group. (2) Tl1e Ievel of CD25 is il1creased in all 1'CMsyndromes of EH compared with control grouP.(P<0.05 or Pwt0.0l )The level of CD62p is increased in all TCM syndromes of EHexcePt effugent liver fire compared with control grouP.(P<0.05)The level of CD25 in TCM syndromes of EH is as tbIIowst dualvacuity of yin and yang > yin vacuity with yang hyPeractivity>effulgent liver fire. (P<0.05 or P<0.0I) The level of CD62p inTCM syndromes of EH is as fo1lows; dual vacuity ofyin and yang >yin vacuity with yang hyperactivity,effulgent liver tIre. (P<0.05 orP<0.0l) (3) The amount of BSS is 1ess than that of NBSS ineffulgent liver fire .(P<0.0l), There is no significantly differencebetween the amount of:BSS with that of NBSS in yin vacuity withyang hyperactivity .(P>0.05) The amount of BSS is more than thatof NBSS in dual vacuity of yin and yang. (P<0.0l ) (4) The amountof BSS in TCM syndromes is as fOllowst dual vacuity of yin andyang > yin vacuity with yang hyperactivity>effulgent liverfire .(P<0.05 or P<0.0l) (5) The level of CD62p and CD25 areincreased in BSS and NBSS of EH compared \vith controlgrouP.(P<0.0l) '1'he level of CO62p in BSS is more than that inNBSS. (P<0.0l) There is 11o sigl1iticantly dit1brence between the2level of CD25 in BSS and that in NBSS. (P>O.05)Conclusion:(1) Abnormal activation of blood platelet and disorder of humoral and cellular immunity pariicipate in the ocurrence and development of EH. (2) The level of CD25 can serve as a reference index of primary judgement in syndrome differentiation of TCM in EH.(3)The level of CD62p can serve as a reference index in microcosmic syndrome differentiation of TCM in BSS of EH. (4) Blood stasis exists in EH, especially in yin vacuity with yang hyperactivity and dual vacuity of yin and yang , so bloodquickening stasis-dispelling chinese medicine should be used in treatment of EH.
